The Prego Dynamic Car Seat falls under Group 0+ and is suitable for babies from birth up to 13 kg (approximately 74 cm in height). The car seat must be installed in the vehicle only rear-facing, i.e. against the direction of travel. The product must be securely fastened using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt.
The carry handle of the Prego Dynamic Car Seat can be used in 4 different positions: in-car, carrying, middle (rocking) and stationary. To change the position, simply press the buttons on both sides of the carry handle at the same time and turn the handle to the desired position. When you bring it to the carrying position, you should hear a "click" sound confirming the handle has locked securely.
If the Prego Dynamic Car Seat is to be used on the front passenger seat, the front passenger airbag must absolutely be switched off. Placing the car seat on the front passenger seat while the airbag is active can pose a serious, life-threatening risk to the baby in the event of an accident. For safety, it is preferable for the baby to travel in the car seat in the back seat, rear-facing. Always follow the safety rules specified in the vehicle's owner's manual and the product's instructions when installing and using the car seat.
The height of the shoulder straps should be set level with the baby's shoulders or just below them. Once the baby is correctly placed in the seat and the 3-point harness is buckled, the adjustment strap should be tightened just enough to secure the baby safely and comfortably. The ideal harness tightness is such that only one finger can fit between the baby's shoulder and the strap.
The fabric cover of the car seat is part of the product's safety performance. For this reason, the seat should never be used without its cover, and the original cover should not be replaced with a different fabric or cover. Cleaning and maintenance should be carried out as specified in the product's instructions. The warning and safety labels on the seat must not be removed or covered. If any part of the seat shows breakage, cracking, deformation or other damage, the product must not be used. Because invisible damage can occur after any accident, the car seat must never be reused following one. In addition, using a second-hand car seat whose history and accident record are unknown is not recommended.
